In addition, the antioxidant property of turmeric destroys free radicals in the body that damage the body's cells. It has been found that those suffering from rheumatoid arthritis who consume turmeric on a regular basis experience much relief from mild to moderate joint pain as well as inflammation of the joints. 3. Immunity Booster Turmeric contains a substance known as lipopolysaccharide, which helps stimulate the body's immune system. It can also help treat psoriasis- itchy, dead skin- and other skin conditions. Weight Management Turmeric powder can help keep the body at a proper weight, by helping break down fat. Someone who wants to lose weight or treat obesity and sicknesses that come with it, can have one teaspoon of turmeric with every meal. Prevents Alzheimer’s Disease Swelling of the brain is one of the main reasons for cognitive disorders, like Alzheimer’s disease. Turmeric can keep the brain healthy, by helping oxygen flow. This can also slow down or totally stop Alzheimer’s disease. Improves Digestion Turmeric can help with digestion, by lessening bloating and gas. It can also help treat inflammatory bowel disease. But be careful, because if you suffer from a gallbladder disease you should not take turmeric, as that can make it worse. Also, if you have a digestive problem, it is best to eat raw turmeric, and not capsules. Prevents Liver Disease Turmeric is a natural way to force poisons from the liver. The liver takes poison out of the blood, and turmeric helps make the enzymes that keep it working. It also helps strengthen, and better blood flow. All of this helps to keep the liver healthy. Because of all the ways turmeric can help your health, adding this herb to your diet is a great idea. Please Subscribe! ▶ https://goo.gl/ksfh7M If You Drink Turmeric Milk Before Bedtime, This is What Happens To Your Body Turmeric is commonly used as a seasoning in food and can also be used as a dye for clothes. Turmeric’s health benefits are vast, but not very well-known. If you are not a curry fan, turmeric-milk is an excellent option. Simply add half a tea-spoon of turmeric to hot or cold-milk. Here are the following benefits of drinking turmeric-milk before-bedtime 1.It is a liver-tonic: Laboratory tests and clinical studies have demonstrated the ability of the curcumin in turmeric to prevent and reverse liver cirrhosis and fatty-liver. Liver, being the chemical-hub of the body, is constantly engaged in the processing of chemical substances entering the body. That includes environmental pollutants, chemical additives in processed foods and drugs taken for other disease conditions. The hepato-protective and detoxifying action of turmeric reduces the impact of injuries to liver tissue by these toxic substances. Increasing the production of bile, it helps remove biliary obstructions too.  2.It is an excellent blood purifier Turmeric has always been regarded as an excellent detoxifying agent. Our body has to deal with an onslaught of toxins that enter the blood through our food and drink as well as the respiratory tract. They can damage not only the blood vessels but all the other tissues that the contaminated blood reaches. Toxins in the blood are the underlying causes of many abnormal-skin conditions and other diseases. Turmeric helps the elimination of blood impurities by improving the function of the liver which is entrusted with the duty of identifying these toxins and finding a way to eliminate them. Moreover, the diuretic effect of turmeric helps flush out these toxins through urine. 3.Improved Digestion Turmeric can be used to help treat a variety of digestive problems, including digestive tract inflammation and reduction of gas and bloating. Just a little daily can help with almost any condition. However, those with gallbladder disease should not take turmeric due to over-stimulation. 4.Heart Health: Curcumin has also been shown to reduce bad-cholesterol (LDL), remove plaque buildups in the arteries, and prevent blood clotting. 5.It has anti-cancer properties The curcumin in turmeric has been shown to kill cancer-cells and prevent their spread to other areas in laboratory studies. It is found to be effective against cancers of the breast, prostate, skin, colon, and lung. Many cancerous growths go undetected and untreated in the initial stages when it would have been much easier to stop them in their tracks. Drinking turmeric-milk regularly may help prevent malignant growths as well as stop their progress in the early stages. 6.Gives relief from a cough and cold Turmeric-milk is a commonly used traditional remedy for a cough, cold, and other respiratory tract infections. Turmeric increases mucus production which naturally flushes out the microbes that have managed to get a foothold in the respiratory tract. The antiviral and antibacterial properties of turmeric can help fight the infections while the anti-inflammatory property helps relieve the symptoms. A cup of warm turmeric-milk before going to bed will relieve nighttime coughing and provide restful sleep. Grandmothers have lots of wisdom. They often teach us about different topics and many times know exactly which ingredients they have in their kitchen that fight different ailments. Only when we get older, do we realize how much grandma knew what she was talking about. Now, science is teaching us exactly what grandma tried to so many years ago. Certain natural ingredients help relieve specific symptoms, often doing so much more effectively and safely than industrialized medications. Being holistic in our approach to health, we can see the benefits of a healthy diet, regular exercise, and the proper amount of rest. Together they work to give us a high quality of life. One of these ingredients that your grandmother may have tried to teach you about is turmeric. Although she may have included it in her favorite recipes, simply adding it to a a warm glass of water in the morning before breakfast can yield fantastic results. Here’s what it’s capable of: 1. Fighting diabetes One study discovered that mixing warm water and turmeric helps prevent type 2 diabetes. It’s also capable of reducing the effects of this debilitating disease by bringing about certain changes in key hormones.   2. Slowing down the effects of aging Because it spurs our bodies to produce healthier cells, turmeric mixed with warm water slows down how quickly we age. It promotes better circulation and allows us to look and feel younger at the same time. 3. Preventing Cancer Drinking this powerful mixture on an empty stomach fights to curb the growth of cancerous cells in the body. Turmeric does this by providing more alkaline to your cells. Doing this counters the unhealthy multiplication of cells. 4. Reducing Inflammation A powerful anti-inflammatory, turmeric reduces swelling and inflammation in the body. So, it helps relieve several annoying issues like sore throats, joint pain, and ulcers. It can also reduce the symptoms of arthritis.   5. Improving Cognitive Function Researchers believe that turmeric and water can actually lead to a healthier brain. Together they work to improve cognitive function, fight dementia, and prevent Alzheimer’s disease.   6. Aiding in Digestion Turmeric rids our bodies of toxins and helps expel harmful waste. By keeping our digestive tracts free from these substances, it provides a better environment for the growth of good bacteria. Preparing this powerful mixture is simple: Add 2 teaspoons of turmeric to 1 glass of warm water. Be sure to stir the turmeric in well, and drink it every morning. Take it up a notch by adding a sprinkle of black pepper to allow the body to absorb the turmeric even more. Turmeric is the third best-selling spice after flax and wheat grass in the last few years. Curcumin, its main ingredient, is a popular food additive with a nice, mild aroma and yellow color. Hence, people usually think that its consumption has no side effects. however, this is not completely accurate. This is because we often consider that natural things cannot be toxic or dangerous. Nonetheless, to some extent, this spice isn’t toxic, but there are individuals who have complained about nausea, diarrhea, stomach ache, and dizziness after turmeric consumption. Namely, when combined with black pepper, curcumin can be increased by 2000% and only one dose of this may feel like 29 cups. That is, the blood levels increase and this mixture can change the DNA in vitro. Therefore, to avoid unwanted side effects, these groups of people should avoid turmeric: 1. Pregnant and breastfeeding women. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consume turmeric cautiously or even better, avoid it completely. Namely, when consumed orally, turmeric can put their pregnancy at risk by stimulating a menstrual cycle or the uterus. Also, men who are trying to be fathers should avoid it as well, because turmeric is known to decrease the testosterone levels and sperm movement. 2. People with gallstones. If you are a person who has problems with gallstones, you should avoid turmeric because a recent study showed that this spice can cause serious problems and ache in the gallbladder. However, it’s good to know that turmeric can prevent gallbladder stones and protect the liver by stimulating the gallbladder functions. 3. People with biliary tract obstruction. They should avoid this spice or consume it very carefully. 4. People with kidney stones. If you consume turmeric on a daily basis, you are at a higher risk of developing kidney stones. Moreover, this spice has high levels of soluble oxalate which easily attaches to calcium. Calcium oxalate cannot be dissolved and this is the main reason for kidney stone problems. Turmeric and Black Pepper The spice turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties — it’s being studied for its potential to fight cancer, improve liver function, lower cholesterol and stave off Alzheimer’s disease. When you combine it with black pepper, your body absorbs a thousand times more curcumin (turmeric’s active ingredient). And it doesn’t take much. If people are given a bunch of turmeric, within an hour there’s a little bump in the level in their blood stream. We don’t see a large increase because our liver is actively trying to get rid of it. But what if the process is suppressed by taking just a quarter teaspoon’s worth of black pepper? Then you see curcumin levels skyrocket. The same amount of curcumin consumed, but the bioavailability shoots up 2000%. Even just a little pinch of pepper—1/20th of a teaspoon—can significantly boost levels. And guess what a common ingredient in curry powder is besides turmeric? Black pepper. Another way to boost the absorption of curcumin is to consume it in the whole food, turmeric root (fresh or dried as a powder) because natural oils found in turmeric root and turmeric powder can enhance the bioavailability of curcumin seven to eight fold. When eaten with fat, curcumin can be directly absorbed into the bloodstream through the lymphatic system thereby in part bypassing the liver. Turmeric Rice Recipe Ingredients • 2 tablespoons olive oil • 1 small onion, chopped (use more if you wish) • 1/2 bell pepper, chopped (use more if you wish) • 1/4 cup sun dried tomatoes, chopped (optional) • 1 cup uncooked rice, preferably brown • 1 teaspoon salt • Pinch of Black Pepper (I forgot this in the video) • 1 teaspoon turmeric • 2 cups broth or water DirectionsHeat olive oil in a skillet or saucepan with a lid. Add onion, pepper and tomato, if using. Sauté, stirring occasionally, until onions are soft, about 5 minutes. • Add rice and stir to mix well; cook for another minute or two. Add liquid, salt and turmeric. Cover, adjust heat to maintain a simmer, and cook until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender (about 40 minutes for brown, 20 minutes for white). If the rice isn't tender when the liquid has been absorbed, add a little more liquid and continue simmering for a few minutes. Enjoy! Isn't it amazing how the health of our family members can trigger us into action! So was the case with this Turmeric tea recipe. My father was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis, a condition that was causing him a great deal of pain and for a man who was exceptionally active, the pain began to slow him down. Pain killlers weren't helping, in fact the side effects from the pain killers were worst than the arthritis! So we set about finding him a diet that he could have that would help with his condition and this tea ticked all the boxes. A natural anti-inflammatory and natural pain killer, my Dad is LOVING this tea as its tastes like chai and he uses it as a replacement for coffee and black tea. With many many other health benefits, this tea is an absolute must have for your medicine cupboard. Ingredients: 3 heaped teaspoons turmeric 1 heaped teaspoon ground cloves 2 teaspoons ground cardamon 2 teaspoons ground ginger 1.5 Lts of 3.5 pints of filtered water Honey to taste nut milk optional ------------- SUBSCRIBE here and let's connect over there too: Website: http://www.theinternetchef.biz/ Google+: http://goo.gl/G1XbR Twitter: https://twitter.com/bridget_cooks Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheInternetChef -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- WATCH NOW! benefits of eating tumeric everyday http://naturalremedies.freddycoach.com/ Fast-forward thousands of years, and researchers today are now taking a fresh look at the potential in these natural remedies. The Indian spice turmeric is right at the top of the list. Turmeric, with its mellow flavor and bright color, is a key ingredient in curry powder, and a highlight of cooking in places from India to Nepal to Southeast Asia. Turmeric’s health benefits — along with that distinctive yellow color — come from a group of flavonoids called curcuminoids. (That's why the dietary supplement from turmeric is called curcumin.) As modern science is now showing, turmeric is an outstanding example of the concept that foods can powerfully support the body’s healing processes. The past few decades have witnessed intense research devoted to this "sacred spice." Here are seven of the most important benefits it can offer: Ref: http://www.mindbodygreen.com ************************ Next Video: https://youtu.be/VfU5a6ajMZ0 Share this Video: https://youtu.be/E3gs3QBuYjk Subscribe our Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/NaturalRemediesTip Blog: http://healthandnutrition101.blogspot.pe/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NaturalRemediesTip Blog: http://freddystore.com *************** Video Recommended (In Spanish): http://youtu.be/QY8vKnS6UIY

First, one important reason to combine these two ingredients and consume them is that they enhance the health promoting abilities of each other. In fact, black pepper will enhance the bioavailability of turmeric. Curcumin has low levels of bioavailability, and because of this, much of the curcumin we consume is metabolized before it can be absorbed. Piperine has been found to make curcumin more bioavailable which allows us to absorb more of it and get its full healing and health promoting affects. 2. Eating turmeric mixed with black pepper also has tremendous anti-inflammatory affects for our bodies. This mixture is a known anti-inflammatory powerhouse and can be especially helpful for those individuals suffering from symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. Curcumin is well known as a natural anti-inflammatory compound and for its anti-inflammatory affects. It reduces inflammation throughout our entire body and targets and fights inflammation at the molecular level. Curcumin can actually inhibit many of the molecules know to play a role in causing inflammation. Black pepper contains many different antioxidants which is great for reducing inflammation. These antioxidants in black pepper can help to both prevent and repair damage cause by free radicals and neutralize damaging compounds in our bodies, reducing inflammation in the process. 3. This mixture may also have benefits for certain types of cancer and may even reduce the risk of developing certain cancers. Studies have shown that curcumin can have positive affects on preventing cancer. Again, this is often attributed to several benefits curcumin provides at the molecular level which are enhanced by black pepper due to its absorption enhancing properties. Turmeric also provides many different nutrients and antioxidants which reduce damaging free radicals. Black pepper may also help in this regard to the polyphenols in contains. Discuss with your medical practitioner other cancer treatment and prevention methods. 4. Eating turmeric and black pepper can also have benefits for our overall heart health and reduce the risk of heart disease. Curcumin may actually help to not only reduce the risk of heart disease, but also reverse many of the steps in the heart disease process. Curcumin is unique in that it can help to improve the function and health of our blood vessels. This allows turmeric to help with the regulation of blood pressure and blood clotting. Turmeric also reduces inflammation as well as oxidation, two factors which may lead to heart disease. As well, since turmeric and black pepper contains curcumin and piperine, this can also help to reduce “bad” LDL cholesterol as well as reduce triglyceride levels in the body. 5. Lastly, combining and consuming turmeric mixed with black pepper can also have benefits for cognitive function and may even reduce the risk of developing certain cognitive diseases, such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Turmeric can help to reduce inflammation and oxidation that can lead to these neurodegenerative disease. As well, it can help to reduce the build-up of Amyloid plaques, which may cause these diseases. Black pepper can also improve cognitive function. Studies have shown that the compounds and components in black pepper can help to reduce memory impairment and cognitive malfunction. As well, piperine may be able to help stimulate chemical pathways in the body, which may help reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease. Again, discuss with your medical practitioner other treatment and prevention methods when it comes to this complicated disease and to make sure this mixture is safe for you. Small dosages of these two spices is often recommended when consuming them consistently. One-half to one teaspoon of turmeric is recommended with just a pinch of black pepper when consuming regularly. DISCLAIMER: This video is for educational and informational purposes only.
